Mr. Naveed Qazi Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Naveed Qazi is a seasoned banking and financial services professional with over 38 years of extensive experience in various areas including Corporate and Retail Banking, Microfinance, Capital Markets, Operations Risk, Information Technology and Banking Operations. Prior to joining NCCPL, he served as an Advisor for Digitalization and Strategic Initiatives at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) where he focused on streamlining processes, enhancing operational controls and driving automation to improve efficiency and customer service.

Mr. Qazi has held senior leadership roles, including President and CEO at JS Bank and First Microfinance Bank, CIO at Standard Chartered Bank, Pakistan and COO at American Express Bank Ltd., Pakistan, where he played a key role in establishing and growing these institutions, optimizing their operations and managing regulatory relationships. His experience spans across leading organizational transformations, implementing strategic business plans and overseeing large-scale projects. Mr. Qazi has also been actively involved in working with regulatory bodies such as the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

He holds an MBA from Institute of Business Administration and has received various international trainings on advanced leadership including leadership training from INSEAD, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation in the financial sector.

Mr. Imran Ahmed Khan Deputy Chief Executive Officer & Company Secretary

Mr. Imran Ahmed Khan is a seasoned business professional with an extensive experience of 30 years in multifaceted roles with reputed organizations. He is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan “ICAP”. He is also a certified director from ICAP.

He joined NCCPL as CFO and Company Secretary in 2007. In his role as CFO, he was a key member of the team that introduced and implemented capital gain tax (“CGT”) system in 2012. He assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer in July 2022 and in this role he supervised and led the Operations, Customer Support, Product Development and Marketing departments along with Administration, Legal and Company Secretariat.

As COO, he led the initiative where NCCPL was made responsible for acting as a payment agent for and on behalf of Ministry of Finance in terms of GoP Ijarah Sukuks listed at the securities exchange for both primary and secondary markets.

He started his professional career from KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co. Chartered Accountants and before joining NCCPL, has served at different senior management positions in Dewan Mushtaq Group, Jaffer Brothers (Private) Limited and Orion Group of Industries.

Mr. Asad Ahmed Ali Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Asad Ahmed Ali is associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and carries a post qualification experience of more than eight (8) years. He joined National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited in the year 2016 as Manager Compliance and after serving for three (3) years, he was rotated to Finance Department in the capacity of Senior Manager Finance. In July 2022, he was elevated to the role of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining NCCPL, he was affiliated with A. F. Ferguson & Co. Chartered Accountants (a member firm of PwC network) where he completed his mandatory training period and later worked as Assistant Manager in Assurance & Advisory Department.

Mr. Kashif Alam Khan Chief Risk Officer

Mr. Kashif joined the Company since 2007 as Chief Internal Auditor. He is a Fellow member of ICAP and ACCA - UK. He also holds memberships of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) - USA and ISACA - USA. He is a ISACA's Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Director from ICAP. He was re-designated as Chief Risk Officer with effect from April 2017. He has more than twenty years of diversified experience of serving organizations in Pakistan and Middle East. Before joining the Company, he was the Head of Internal Audit at TeleCard Limited.

Mr. Shafiq ur Rehman Chief Information Officer

Mr. Shafiq is a Computer Systems Engineer holding B.E. degree from NED University and an MBA in MIS (Gold medalist) from SZABIST. He joined the Company as Chief Information Officer in 2011. He has over around 20 years of experience of serving several financial and capital market institutions of Pakistan in different capacities, including UBL Fund Managers, JS Investments and CDC. He has played instrumental role in the development and successful deployment of many capital market products such as e-CDS, NCSS, RMS, CGT, CKO and Murahaba Share Financing.

Mr. Amir Mobin Chief Regulatory Officer

Mr. Amir joined the Company in April 2014 as Chief Compliance & Risk Officer and is a fellow member of ICAP. He has over ten years of enriched experience. He served the Company for nine months in 2008 as Manager Operations. He was re-designated as Chief Regulatory Officer with effect from January 2, 2017 to lead the compliance and regulatory functions of the Company. He has held the position of CFO and Company Secretary of Lakson Investments Limited. He also worked as Assistant Vice President - Operations at IGI Funds Limited.

Mr. Muhammad Asif Head of Operations

Mr. Asif is MBA Finance from KASBIT.  He has over twenty years of capital market experience which includes Clearing, Settlement, Risk Management, Product Development and Surveillance. He joined the Company in 2002. Before joining the Company, he was the member of Clearing, Settlement and Risk Management Operations team of PSX. He was also the Member of NCSS Operations team of CDC.

Mr. Jawed Muhammed Siddiq Chief Internal Auditor

Mr. Jawed Siddiq joined the Company in 2017 as Chief Internal Auditor and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and Fellow Cost & Management Accountant. He has more than twenty-two years of enriched and diversified experience in assurance, finance and consulting, serving multinational/multibillion dollar organizations and Big4 professional firms in the Middle East and Pakistan. Before joining NCCPL, he was associated with Ooredoo Qatar and Etisalat Group (the largest telecommunication Groups in the Middle East) working on senior management positions. Previously he served KPMG Lower Gulf, Libertas Capital Group Dubai and Sidat Hyder (Andersen S.C. representative firm in Pakistan).

Ms. Asiya Yousuf Head of Human Resources

Ms. Asiya Yousuf is serving as Head of Human Resources at National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) since October 2017. She is a member of Senior Management team as well as Secretary to Board’s Human Resources & Remuneration Committee.

She has over 13 years of enriched experience in leading and managing HR functions. Prior to joining NCCPL, she was associated with Alfalah GHP Investment Management Limited as Head of Human Resources. She is an MBA with majors in Human Resource Management from Pakistan Institute of Management and has received various trainings & workshops on Leadership, HR and Behavioral Assessment including Thomas profiling. She is also a Certified Director from Institute of Business Administration (IBA) duly recognized by SECP.

Mr. Amir Akhtar Jamili Chief Information Security Officer

Mr. Amir Akhtar Jamili is leading Information Security department of NCCPL. He joined the Company in 2016. Mr. Jamili has over 17 years' experience in Information Security, Business Continuity & Disaster Management, IT Services Management, Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Business Process Improvement, IT Governance, Software Application and Development. Prior to joining NCCPL, he was associated with several prominent organizations including Telenor Pakistan, Central Depository Company of Pakistan, Mobile Complete (Cloud Based Mobile Application Service Provider) and Systems Limited.

By qualification, he is MS in Computer Sciences and holds various international certifications in IT related areas. He is also certified Lead Auditor - Information Security Management System, Information Technology Service Management & Business Continuity Management System. Moreover, he is an author of research paper which was published in Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
