NCCPL is looking for Project Manager - Construction
REQUISITES:
Education: Bachelor’s in Construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or other related fields from a reputable institution.
Certification: Project Management Certifications such as PMP & LEED will be preferred.
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in construction project management in commercial building construction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project Initiation: Develop project charters, project scope statements, and project schedules. Oversee the design and construction process, ensuring that all work meets the required quality standards.
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Oversee project execution, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budgetary parameters & requisite quality standards.
- Site Management: Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards, identify and mitigate risks, and take corrective action to ensure project objectives are met.
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring timely completion and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards in accordance with applicable building codes and regulations.
- Financial Responsibilities: Budgeting and Cost Control: Establish and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness, provide regular financial reports and manage payments/invoicing with requisite supports.
- Risk & Safety Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the project and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in MS Office & latest Project Management tools.
Employment Type: Contractual
Tenure: 2 to 3 years (Extendable)
